St. Mary's, Olveston

St. Mary the Virgin, Olveston

St Mary's is an old and beautiful church, much used and valued by the whole community.  With over thirty people in the choir, it has a strong musical tradition, and there is also a Breakfast Club that meets in the school hall every Sunday for younger children and their parents.  An increasing number of concerts and events take place in the church building, and a number of groups meet in peoples' homes.  With over 160 on the electoral roll, we're a fairly lively and diverse lot, active in all sorts of ways, and served by a strong ministry team, both clergy and lay.  We're hoping to embark on a redevelopment of the church facilities as soon as we get the final green light, but it's actually the people that matter, and the way that we worship God together.

St. Mary's, Olveston has its own website which can be accessed here.
