Amateur Radio

Thornbury & South Gloucestershire Amateur Radio Club

Who are we?
We are a small amateur radio club, whose members come from many backgrounds. Besides amateur radio, we have a wide range of hobbies and interests and some of these have become part of the club's life. These interests include computers and IT, narrow band television, vintage radios, aero modelling, digital photography, space technology, geocaching and historical engineering.

What do we do?
In addition to regular on-the-air nights, when we talk to other licensed radio amateurs, we have a variety of guest and club speakers, video evenings, practical equipment nights and the occasional external visit. Click here for our weekly programme.
